We provide individualized speech therapy services to children and adolescents in the Twin Cities area. We enjoy working with families and children to help them find their voice and effectively communicate at home, school, and in all environments. Urban Speech Therapy specializes in childhood apraxia of speech, fluency, language delays, and speech sound disorders, but we work with all communication disorders. We believe it is important to have family involved in all aspects of prevention and remediation of speech therapy to ensure carryover of skills.

Julie Urban has a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Rockhurst University. She is listed as a provider in the Apraxia-Kids Provider List and is level one PROMPT-trained. She is also a recipient of the ACE award from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
