We specialize in counseling & life coaching as well as anger management classes, marriage counseling, and EMDR Therapy.
Motor City Center for Hope (MCCH) provides counseling and therapy for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to schizophrenia and PTSD. We are also very well known for our affordable Anger Management Classes that meet most (if not all) court requirements. In short, we treat just about everything and our clients see results.

Bio
Cynthia Finnegan is a licensed Clinical and Macro Social Worker and has worked in the field for almost 20 years. She received her BSW from Northern Michigan University with Minors in Substance Abuse Counseling, Policy Evaluation, and Human Behavior Analysis. She received her MSW from Michigan State University with a Clinical Concentration. Prior to receiving her bachelors degree, Cynthia was working in a youth facility for children with mental illness. She spent many years in the child welfare field -- Foster Care Worker, Families First Worker, Family Worker for teenage boys in placement, home based therapist for children and families involved in the foster care system, etc. The last eight years of her career were spent at a busy Community Mental Health Center in Detroit in which she was the Executive Director of Clinical Services. Cynthia's passion has always been in serving Detroit. Thus, Motor City Center for Hope is definitely her greatest accomplishment to date!
