Pediatric Speech Therapy Services
Ithaca Therapy Works is a private speech pathology practice providing individualized, client-centered, and evidence-based therapy to children in our community of Ithaca and Tompkins County in New York State. We specialize in speech sound disorders and child language development. We provide high-quality and culturally responsive diagnostic and treatment services. We are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ children and their families.
Co-founded by Muriel Quintana and Jessica Romans, Ithaca Therapy Works is currently accepting new clients at our in person location in the South Hill Business Campus located on Rt 96B. Muriel and Jessica are both alumni of the Department of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology graduate program at Ithaca College. We have 8 years experience working in a variety of clinical settings including skilled nursing, acute care hospitals, research, public school settings, and private practice. We are committed to bringing the best speech therapy services to our community.

Bio
Muriel Quintana (she/her) is a licensed speech-language pathologist with The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence. She holds a New York State Professional Certificate in Teaching Students with Language Disabilities. Muriel has been providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a variety of settings (public schools, clinics, preschools, daycares and homes) since 2013. Muriel specializes in speech sound disorders and is passionate about celebrating the perspectives of neurodivergent individuals. Muriel also holds a bilingual certification in New York State and is dedicated to providing culturally-responsive therapy to her clients.
Jessica Romans (she/her) is a licensed speech-language pathologist with The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's Certificate of Clinical Competence. Jessica has been providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to children and adolescents in a variety of settings since 2013 (skilled nursing, hospital and acute care rehabilitation, public school systems). Jessica is passionate about speech sound disorders and the creative use of AAC to support multi-modal communication. She is LSVT certified. She holds certification in North Carolina and New York State and is dedicated to providing culturally responsive therapy to her clients.
