She believes that therapy is a collaborative endeavor that takes place within an encouraging, empathic and non-judgmental environment. She strongly believes in tailoring a treatment plan to each client's needs while applying a variety of therapeutic and holistic techniques from her clinical training and experiences. Jennifer believes that every person has the potential to be successful but at times may not have the skills to accomplish their goals. Therefore, the aim of therapy is to work with the individual or family to identify obstacles, strengths and goals while providing guidance, support and empowerment. Counseling is intended to help you gain understanding, find meaning and make changes to obtain a better quality of life that you envision for yourself.

Jennifer specializes in children, adolescents, and families who are experiencing various challenges and also has extensive experience with anxiety, chronic illness, and grief and loss. As a certified Grief Counselor, Jennifer understands how difficult it can be working through the stages of grief and can help you process your experience and provide tools to help you cope during this challenging time.
