Portrait Health Centers
Portrait Health Centers are multi-specialty clinics that employ the most cutting-edge and proven assessment protocols and treatment options available, believing that an Effective Treatment Depends On An Accurate Diagnosis. Individuals should not have to “play doctor” by researching available treatments and then self-selecting which of these treatments has been scientifically validated and would be most appropriate for themselves or their family. At Portrait Health Centers, we provide a comprehensive and multi-specialty assessment to determine the underlying causes of your symptoms and incorporate an appropriate treatment plan.
Specialties: Including but not limited to Academic Underachievement, Family Conflict, Relationship Issues, Anxiety, Child or Adolescent, Parenting, Marital and Premarital, Divorce, Self-Esteem, Depression, Learning Disabilities, Peer Relationships, Self-Esteem, Self-Harming, School Issues, Suicidal Ideation, Eating Disorders, Anger Management, Stress, ADHD, Coping Skills, Behavioral Issues, Sports Performance, OCD, Trauma, Grief, Impulsivity, Codependency, Addiction, Substance Abuse, Sexuality, Oppositional Defiant Disorder

I earned my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seton Hall University and my Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Villanova University. I have experience working at both in-home and outpatient agencies with individuals, couples and families of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.

I believe that the client knows best; as such I follow a client-centered approach to therapy. With my guidance, we develop goals and treatment plans together. My primary objective is to provide clients with a respectful and safe environment that helps them assess, learn and improve their quality of life. Although each client’s treatment process is different, I believe that relationships and personal environments are key factors in understanding a client’s wellbeing. Accordingly, my approach to treatment is heavily influenced by Family Systems Therapy. I also utilize aspects from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches. When dealing with children and young adolescents, I use a tactile approach that includes Art and Play Therapy.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family (including my two rescue animals), reading, traveling, trying new restaurants and watching new shows on Netflix.
