Many children, teens, young adults, & families seek support when emotions feel overwhelming or life stress begins to affect daily life. I work with clients navigating trauma/PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD/ASD, or LGBTQIA+ related concerns. Together, we explore challenges such as emotional regulation, attention difficulties, stress, & low motivation. I provide a supportive, affirming space where clients can build coping skills, gain insight, and develop tools to navigate challenges with greater confidence. I also support families in better understanding their child and strengthening connection & communication.

In our work together, we focus on building emotional regulation, social skills, distress tolerance, resiliency, and practical coping strategies so clients and families feel more confident in daily life. I use Play Therapy, EMDR, and DBT to help clients process trauma, express feelings, and develop skills for mindfulness, emotional regulation, and balance.

If you or your child is struggling, you don’t have to face it alone. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where therapy feels safe and approachable. Sessions may include games, activities, and worksheets to make counseling more engaging. Contact me today to start building confidence, resilience, and hope!

When I’m not in session, you can usually find me spending time with my dogs, at the gym, or diving into a good book or a new topic that sparks my curiosity.

Bio
I work with clients to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, grief, neurodivergence, and personality-related concerns. My approach focuses on helping clients discover practical strategies and insights that fit their unique lives, so they can build confidence, regulate emotions, and move toward their goals with greater clarity and resilience.

I use Narrative Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients explore their experiences, learn coping skills, and create meaningful change. EMDR is incorporated when clients are ready to process trauma in a safe and structured way. Sessions often include interactive activities, worksheets, and exercises to make therapy engaging and allow clients to see tangible progress along the way.

For children and adolescents, I integrate play therapy with these approaches. Sessions may include games, sand trays, and creative activities to help younger clients express emotions, build coping skills, and feel safe and supported. I also work closely with families, offering guidance to strengthen connection, improve communication, and support their child’s emotional and social development.
