Love Heal Grow: Improving Your Relationships
Couples Counseling & Individual Therapy
You are capable of great love, healing, and growth within your relationships. Sometimes though, relationships are the source of our pain and problems. It doesn’t need to be this way–we can move through the pain to peace, connection and fulfillment.

Are you looking to improve a relationship with a loved one? Grieving the loss of an important person? Hoping to heal from past trauma or abuse? Wanting to build a better relationship with yourself? You have come to the right place. I would be honored to support you in the significant ways relationships affect our lives.

I provide compassionate, effective and affordable couples counseling and individual therapy in Sacramento, CA. I specialize in: COUPLES THERAPY to improve your connection, intimacy and communication; PREMARITAL COUNSELING to build a strong foundation for your future; GRIEF COUNSELING AND TRAUMA THERAPY to find healing from past abuse, trauma and loss; and INDIVIDUAL THERAPY with a focus on improving your relationship with yourself.

Therapy can help us improve our relationships with others as well as with ourselves. Often when we take the time and space to explore our experiences, we find increased understanding for ourselves and others. This helps us heal, grow, love, and live fulfilling, meaningful lives.

Bio
I became interested in studying interpersonal relationships as a Psychology major at UC Santa Barbara in 2003. I vividly remember learning about attachment patterns and styles, or how we respond in relationships, and wanting to know more than what was shared in our statistic-filled textbook. After class, I ran up to my professor.

“I don’t just want to study how people respond to each other, and why they are this way…I want to know how we can help them improve their relationships. I don’t believe people are stuck with the pain, insecurities and emptiness they may have in relationships just because that is how it’s been in the past.”

My teacher encouraged me to explore the field of Marriage and Family Therapy. Although my interest in relationships probably started around my teen years, this was the moment when I discovered my passion for the psychology of relationships. I have been studying the art and science of relationships for over 10 years and I am humbled at the courage, wisdom and transformation I have seen in the couples and individuals I work with.

I often encourage my clients to make choices and act in accordance to their values and authentic selves. I have noticed when I am actively choosing my values, I find the most peace and fulfillment. What fulfills me is working with couples and individuals to improve their relationships and transform their lives–I have seen change happen and would be honored to support you!
