Compassionate, Direct Therapy for Trauma and Anxiety

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely understood, emotionally safe, and respected as the experits of their own lives. Many of the people I work with come in feelings overwhelmed, stuck in survival mode, or unsure wh y certain patterns keep repeating despite their best efforts. My role is not to “fix” you, but to help you understand what is underneath, build safety in your nervous system, and create meaningful change at a pace that feels sustainable.

I work with children, teens, adults, and caregivers navigating trauma, anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, and neurodivergent experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and neurodiversity-affirming, meaning I prioritize consent, collaboration, and honoring each individual’s unique way of experiencing the world. I pay close attention to how stress and trauma live in the body.

In sessions, I value honesty, curiosity, and authenticity, and I am not afraid to gently challenge patterns that no longer serve you. Rather than relying heavily on homework, I focus on meaningful in-session experiences, reflection, and tools that actually fit into real life. Therapy is a collaborative process, and my goal is to help clients feel more connected to themselves, more regulated in their bodies, and more empowered in their lives.

License Info
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate. I work under supervision of Marie Franklin
Education
I have experience with Somatic, Internal Family Systems, Play Therapy, Art, Drama, and Dance/Movement interventions. I am committed to ongoing learning and reflective practice, recognizing that effective therapy requires curiosity, humility, and continual growth.

My work with somatic and IFS informed approaches is shaped by extensive independent study, clinical application, and ongoing self-education. I integrate these perspectives thoughtfully in session, using them as frameworks to support regulation, insight, and self-understanding rather than rigid techniques.

My experience with play therapy and other creative interventions includes hands-on training during my internship under the supervision of a licensed Dance/Movement Therapist. Through this work, I developed skills in using play, movement, and creative expression to support emotional regulation, communication, and relational connection with individuals.

In addition to modality-specific learning, I draw from clinical experience working with trauma, anxiety, and neurodivergent clients across developmental stages.
Bio
I am a trauma-informed therapist with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and caregivers across a wide range of emotional and relational concerns. Much of my work centers on anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, and neurodivergent experiences.

As an autistic clinician, I am deeply committed to neurodiversity-affirming care. I understand firsthand the impact of sensory overload, masking, burnout, and feeling misunderstood. My perspective informs my work and allows me to offer therapy that is respectful, attuned to each individual, and grounded in lived reality.
