Rana Shokeh, LMSW
I believe we are defined by the diversity of our experiences, relationships, and identities. My role as a therapist is to create a safe space without judgment where the diversity of your experiences can be explored with compassion. The work we do together is collaborative and centered on your personal growth, needs, and desires. The goal is to help you explore your past, thoughts, and emotions to understand yourself and live a more full and satisfying life.
Bio
My approach is relational psychotherapy with training in CBT, DBT and motivational interviewing. Majority of my experience comes from working with minority communities such as LGBTQ, immigrant and migrant communities, and refugees. I have worked in traditional settings and refugee camps with youth, women, and families.
