Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending. ~Attributed to Carl Bard
Through my own creative process, education, and practical experience, I have developed an ability to hold a space that allows me to aid others, and guiding them to a place where they too can enjoy a full and healthy life. I offer a safe place of non-judgment where you are free to explore your feelings and relationships. Coming to therapy is a positive action in that you are taking time to allow yourself to grow. Many new skills can be gained from participation in therapy such as improved communication with loved ones, a greater sense of well-being and new tools for coping with stress. I can teach you skills that you can take with you and continue to use on your own.I believe that we are all deserving of compassion and understanding. My focus is on people’s strengths and I believe everyone has them. I believe your active participation in therapy will yield the most results. At times it will be hard work and your questions or concerns are welcome. I am here to assist you in reaching your therapeutic goals, so that you may experience improved emotional and behavioral functioning and lead a more fulfilling life.
With an open mind and an open heart, I believe we can do this.

Education
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I graduated Antioch University, Ca, in 2005 with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. I spent, several years at Southern California Counseling center, working with clients in non-profit agencies, schools, multidisciplinary centers. I have worked extensively with children & Adolescences diagnosed with Autism and range of behavior disorders.
Bio
In my years of experience I have had the pleasure of working with new mothers whom are going through, motherhood and changing identity, intimacy issues with partner/Spouse, normal and not-so-normal mood changes before & during the first year postpartum and mobilizing resources for support. The necessity of self-care, and the developing attachment relationship between mom & Child. I have a consistent group running that allows mothers opportunity for ongoing support and connection with other mothers. This group is designed for women whom are new at mothering. New moms who are anywhere between one and 6 months postpartum are welcome. This class provides a safe forum for mothers to begin to talk about some of the dramatic changes you are experiencing as you make this transition from womanhood to motherhood.
