Practice Information

I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), which includes acupuncture and Chinese herbs. TCM is a holistic medicine that treats the physical aspect while simultaneously addressing the emotional, psychological and spiritual components as well. It treats the whole person, not just an illness. To achieve optimal results, I include the patient in his or her healing as there is greater patient empowerment when a partnership exists between the patient and practitioner. My philosophy is to assist each individual in obtaining balance in all areas of their lives. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a general medicine and is beneficial for a wide range of conditions, such as all types of musculo-skeletal pain and injuries – back pain, all joint pain, arthritis, sciatica. I specialize in women’s health issues: PMS, menstrual problems, fertility, menopause, etc. Colds/flu Allergies/asthma Digestive disorders Headache/migraines Fatigue Emotional and psychological issues – stress/anxiety/depression/insomnia I’m very passionate about helping people quit smoking. My goal is to have a smoke-free world! “Tune-ups” - TCM excels as a preventive and for general health maintenance. It’s always better to maintain health than wait for symptoms to appear.
