We provide a range of services, including psychotherapy for eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, chronic pain, parenting issues, and family conflict. Additionally, we offer coaching services and workplace wellness programs, geared towards health management, finding meaning and fulfillment at work, improving productivity, and increasing energy and vitality. In a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment, we will equip you with the tools necessary to cope with difficulties, improve your well-being, and build a fulfilling life.
At Connecte, we take a holistic, multidisciplinary approach with a consulting dietitian as part of our team. We work with the mind and the body and the connection between the two. Sessions are structured and goal-directed, tailored to match your needs. We use a variety of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and positive psychology. Some common issues tackled are reducing stress and anxiety; alleviating depressed mood and increasing feelings of happiness; improving your relationship with food and eating; decreasing negative, self-critical thoughts; improving your parenting skills; managing strong, negative emotions; and improving your performance at work. We offer services for children, adolescents, and adults, in both English and French, and provide receipts for insurance purposes. Our fees range from $100 - $130. We are licensed with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec.
Psychotherapy is often focused on alleviating the negative. We hope to not only help you decrease unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, but also maximize your potential and positivity, allowing you to lead a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Additionally, all of our psychologists have a strong background in research. It is important to us to keep up-to-date with the latest psychological research, incorporating it into our practice to provide you with the best care possible. |
