Practice Information |
Dr. Cynthia Chareunsouk Kesaji strives to educate patients on how to achieve optimal health and wellness with their lifestyle choices. She takes a thorough assessment of all the factors in her patients' lives in order to help them manage structural, nutritional, spiritual, and emotional balance in their lives.
Two common techniques that she utilizes are Applied Kinesiology and Neuro Emotional Technique, of which are described below.
Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a form of diagnosis utilizing muscles testing as a primary feedback mechanism to determine a person’s functional health. The triad of health is the main basis of Applied Kinesiology in that it focuses on balancing mental (emotional), biochemical, and structural stresses. Applied Kinesiology treatments are comprised of a variety of integrative therapies including chiropractic manipulation, osteopathic cranial techniques, acupuncture, meridian therapy, nutrition, myofascial techniques, nervous system coordination, lymphatic drainage, and much more.
Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET). Emotions such as fear, anger, grief, and many others can negatively affect us long after the original event that caused them. When our body fails to “let go” of these emotions, we can find ourselves with unexplained aversions, self-sabotaging behaviors, destructive beliefs, phobias, and many chronic physical problems. NET is an approach to identify, and help you let go of “stuck” emotional patterns. While emotions are perfectly normal, they sometimes produce behaviors years later that are counterproductive to our health. NET seeks to normalize this pattern by physiological change. Any psychological aspects of this trauma should be addressed by the appropriate health care professional, such as a psychologist or psychiatrist. |
