Practice Information |
My goal is to treat the patient as a whole by restoring optimum nervous system function and allowing the body to heal itself. This is as opposed to treating only symptoms. As I state, time and time again, "I am not healing you, your body is healing itself. I'm just giving your body the push it needs in the right direction. Pain is just your body's way of letting you know something is wrong, much like the check engine light in your car. You can choose to ignore certain signals or like your car, get it checked out and find out what is really wrong."
My practice offers physiotherapy and manual therapy in our new state-of-the-art clinic. The care we offer is gentle and effective to provide comfortable and painless chiropractic care. We frequently treat patients with headaches, neck pain, and back pain. I also provide treatment for patients with carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, and sports related injuries. We treat patients of all ages ranging from four days old to seventy years old! |

Dr. Puneet Arora, D.C. Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Puneet Arora received his Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto in 1997. In 2005, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As he was wrapping up his studies in Minneapolis, he moved to Dallas to complete an externship and instantly fell in love with the DFW community and decided to settle here.
Dr. Arora initially practiced Chiropractic in Grand Prairie, TX. In 2007 he started a family practice in McKinney, TX. Most recently he opened Arora Family Chiropractic, PLLC at 4040 Legacy Drive, Suite # 203, Frisco, TX, in June of 2010. It was apparent that the Frisco community was family oriented and growing rapidly, a perfect environment for his current practice.
Dr. Arora, or as many of his patients like to call him, Dr. A, enjoys spending his free time with his family and traveling to Toronto, where he grew up. He is also a member of the Frisco Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Arora chose a career in chiropractic after he became conscious of the numerous people suffering needlessly from back pain. While a teenager in Canada, he had a serious back problem which became inflamed whenever he participated in any sporting activities. His primary care physician referred him to physical therapy, pain medication and muscle relaxers. After months of attempting to gain relief using these methods and failing, Dr. Arora finally went to a chiropractor. He was started on a treatment plan that consisted of manual therapy, traction, electrical stimulation and trigger point therapy. After an 8 week treatment plan his pain disappeared. Incidentally, he has never had a bout of pain as severe since. This is largely due to the fact that he maintains his spine with regular maintenance chiropractic adjustments. This life changing event caused Dr. Arora to change his educational focus from Dentistry to Chiropractic, and he is grateful to Dr. Philip Smith for opening his eyes to such a wonderful field.
Come on in, he looks forward to meeting you! |
