This innovative practice is built around the concept that effective healing is best accomplished through accelerated treatment programs with a minimum of office visits. Most standard therapies that require four to six weeks of multiple weekly treatments are marginally effective and may actually contribute to the development of chronic pain. With careful guidance and gentle hands on techniques Dr. Silverman places an emphasis on abbreviated treatment plans. Patients enjoy all the benefits of effective pain relief without the struggle of having to find several hours a week to attend therapy sessions. Together we can often accomplish this goal by combining effective in office therapies with the most up to date patient education and pain management understanding. Bio:

Gerald M. Silverman, DC, is a 1978 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and a board-certified chiropractor in private practice in Manhattan and Hauppauge, NY. At Palmer College he interned in the Department of Radiology and is a diplomat of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He has completed postgraduate study at New York Chiropractic College in applied spinal disability and impairment rating and received a degree in Applied Chiropractic Sciences from Life Chiropractic College West. He has lectured at professional conferences and symposia.
