I want to help you or your family by working together to discover a solution to the issues causing you to seek a counselor. I am a mother as well as a teacher and counseling intern. My experience ranges from small children to older individuals seeking help on a variety of issues. I believe that the past has to be worked through before it can truly be put away. By using a variety of therapeutic techniques, my goal is to help you find the best way to improve your well-being and emotional health. Talking about personal problems or feelings isn't easy. Play, art, and music therapy techniques can be utilized to express thoughts or issues. My goal is to assist each client in finding the best method of expression that will begin the healing process based on his or her individual needs. Islands Counseling is right off highway 90 on the corner of Holcomb and Government in Ocean Springs. I keep late afternoon appointment times during the week and have Saturday times as well.
