I entered the field of massage therapy in 1999. My wife adored massages and she thought that I had a gift for it. She sent me to school.
I attended massage schools in Raleigh and Concord, NC.
I completed my neuro-muscular training and certification at the Southeastern Institute in Charlotte, NC. I highly recommend Southeastern for anybody interested in the field. |

Born in France, I moved to the US in 1982.
The medical field is my fourth career. I ran the family business in France, which was a tableware store. In the USA, I operated a large pecan farm, then, became a stock portfolio manager.
I have had back problems for as long as I can remember. Every time I went to see a professional, he or she worked on the already irritated and inflamed muscles in my back, making the problem worse. I have been in the massage field since 1999.
About six years ago, I saw a neuro-muscular therapist. He worked on my abdominal muscles instead. I thought he was nuts... but the day after, I felt so much better ! It was like a revelation to me and I had to know all I could about this amazing technique. |
