Bio:

Richard began as a drug and alcohol counselor in 1974. He received his master's degree with a thesis in couples counseling in 1982 and his license in 1984. He has taught in the Chemical Dependency Counseling Certificate programs at California State University, Hayward (now East Bay) and Sonoma State University. He has been an associate of the Men's Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy over 20 years. In recent years he as gained a reputation working successfully with depression and anxiety and has had a continuous practice with couples.
