Helping people like you to ease the pain of needless emotional suffering has been my long term mission. Counseling is also provided to help you recover from grief related to death, divorce, the loss of significant relationships, pets and other losses or setbacks in life. If grief has led to depression, then there is hope for brighter days ahead.
For years my practice has helped people dealing with relationship issues and pain. One of the specialties of my practice is helping people who struggle with addictive relationships. .
Helping people to learn to regulate distressing thoughts and emotions, calm the mind and physical reactions to the stresses of life and find their own best path to the life they dream of is a powerful part of what I do.
For decades I have sought to study, master and bring the best therapies possible to the cause of helping people to heal. My practice is built upon providing the newest, most effective and fastest leading-edge treatment available. Although most of my therapies are well researched and evidence-based, some of the treatments I offer are at the very forefront of what's new, exciting and emerging in the field.
Dallas Counseling and Psychotherapy typically provides help to people in north Dallas County, Collin County, Rockwall and Denton County. However, people have traveled hundreds of miles and even come from other states to seek help. Phone counseling is provided for people in the US and Canada. Skype sessions have been made available to people in Europe. |

Steve B. Reed, LPC, LMSW, LMFT has been providing help, hope and healing through the practice of psychotherapy and counseling for over 30 years. Steve is the developer of the REMAP process and Quick REMAP, two therapy methods designed to treat panic attacks, phobias and anxiety disorders. He has presented his work at psychotherapy conferences throughout north America and Europe.
Steve is actively involved in the education and training of other therapists. He provides professional training to therapists in north America, central America and Europe through his REMAP Institute. Steve is also an approved provider of continuing education for counselors, social workers and marriage & family therapists in Texas and Oklahoma. |
