Meet Dr. Cynthia Caputo, DACM, A.P., R.N.

Before opening Acupuncture Healing Arts, I spent years working as an ICU nurse caring for patients with complex medical conditions. That experience shaped the way I practice today—listening carefully, evaluating the whole picture, and developing individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs and goals.

My nursing background allows me to comfortably discuss medical diagnoses, procedures, medications, and treatment plans with patients. At the same time, my training in Traditional Chinese Medicine offers another perspective—one that looks beyond a diagnosis and seeks to understand the patterns that may be contributing to symptoms.

Many patients come to my office seeking relief from pain, stress, fatigue, digestive concerns, hormonal changes, or other health challenges. While acupuncture is an important part of treatment, I believe lasting health is influenced by what happens between appointments. Sleep, movement, nutrition, stress management, recovery, and daily habits often play an important role in how we feel.

My goal is not simply to help patients feel better for a day or two. I work with patients to better understand their health, identify obstacles to healing, and develop realistic strategies that support long-term wellness and quality of life.
