How Do You Capture the Sun When the Storm Still Rages?

I've been thinking alot about how bittersweet it is to welcome new life while you are grieving the loss of your baby. When I think back to my own subsequent pregnancies, I realize that I was initially unprepared for the battle I would experience between hope, fear, sadness, and guilt. Then of course, there came everyone else's reaction which added to the turmoil and sense of being alone. In two words, It sucked. So now I'm doing something about it.

I've been lucky and honored to facilitate the healing process for many bereaving moms. I'm well aware that the process of integrating the loss of our babies and our innocence takes many twists and turns along the way. So I want to pass on some of the things I (and others) have found helpful when you find yourself struggling with your grief and your hope for a live, healthy baby.
