Practice Information |
In addition to helping clients overcome depression, anxiety, stress, and trauma, my subspecialties include supporting women and couples after the loss of their pregnancy or newborn to help them grieve, heal and find new meaning in their lives while treasuring and honoring their babies. Additionally, I enjoy working with women during pregnancy and following the birth of their child to help create a motherhood mindset to thrive in their new role and minimize risk factors for developing post partum mood disorders.
I have supported men and women through their struggles for over 20 years so they could live their lives more fully and without the burden of past traumas constantly holding them back.
My clients report that with treatment they feel more supported and validated, have confidence in using powerful tools to help them through the worst of times and ultimately learn to move forward in their lives. Please don’t hesitate to call so we can discuss how I can best serve you.
My clientele is diverse in culture, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and family makeup. |

Bio: |
For over 20 years, I have been in the field of helping people overcome their obstacles and heal from tragedy. My clinical experience began in working with homeless war veterans scarred by their combat experiences, then I supported rape survivors while they underwent hospital examination immediately following their rape as well as crisis counseling in the aftermath.
When I began in private practice some 17 years ago, I began to find that in addition to trauma, I accompanied many of my clients embarking on a journey of motherhood. For some, they needed help embracing a motherhood mindset and for others, that experience was marred by the fog of post partum depression or was tragically cut short by the loss of their pregnancy or infertility. Through my own personal and professional work, I have been able to use my own loss as a bridge to enable other women and couples grieve their losses so they could find meaning and re-invest in their lives once again.
In addition to my extensive clinical training as a psychologist, professional experiences with coaching and psychotherapy, and my personal experience of overcoming tragedy during pregnancy, you can be assured that I will understand your experience better than most and provide you with the best tools to feel better, so that life becomes rich and colorful again. |
