Avalon Malibu is a residential treatment center located in Malibu, California licensed to treat drug, alcohol and mental health issues. It is the only Malibu treatment center directly on the beach with beach access. We are JCAHO accredited, dually licensed by ADP and by the Department of Social Services, and accredited by the Department of Mental Health to treat both primary psychiatric issues and also chemical dependency issues. We run a highly personalized program with multiple individual sessions with Masters level and PhD level therapists. Our expertise is in Dual Diagnosis/Co-Occurring disorders. Our unique approach utilizes Board Certified Physicians specializing in Psychiatry, Internal Medicine, Addictionology , Neurology and Eastern Medicine. Avalon Malibu has an optional Buddhist-informed track led by author and meditation teacher Noah Levine, MSW. Along with a solid Family Program in addition to an IOP (Intensive Outpatient.)
