Professionally, I am a LAADC CA, holding a licensure as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor. I have also been involved in assisting individuals struggling with addictions for over 20 years. I completed my practicum at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla and worked in their Inpatient Drug and Alcohol facility for several years. I was the Program Director for the Intensive Outpatient Program with PsyCare Inc. in Poway and worked with them for over five years. I currently have a private practice in Carlsbad. My services include Individual Substance Use Assessments, Court and DUI Assessments, Individual Counseling and Conjoint Counseling regarding Substance use issues. Personally, I struggled with substance dependence. I now have over 22 years of continuous sobriety. I want my clients to know that I am not only a professional this field but also I understand it on a personal level. I know that recovery is possible and I know what it takes to achieve it!
