We have increased the amount of homework students are required to do, but haven’t provided them with the tools to study efficiently. Specific skills students need include: Establishing and managing an effective study environment Organization of school materials Test-taking skills Note-taking Understanding difficult reading materials Executive functioning skills Reading, Writing, and Math Interventions: Is your student having difficulty learning to read or write? Has he or she been diagnosed with dyslexia (reading), dysgraphia (writing) or, dsyscalculia (math)?
