The name of my practice is really a Holistic Chiropractic, because we take into consideration whole organism an the fact that anything can effect everything. Physical aspects of well-being as a muscular-skeletal conditions can be helped with chiropractic. I do not like cracking the neck, I use KST- Koren Specific technique that enable me to identify and adjust any joint in the body with low force, but with great accuracy. We use massage, meridian therapy(acupuncture without needles-I use electrical device to stimulate different acupuncture points). We address emotional aspects of well-being using NET-Neuro-Emotional Technique- a powerful tool that I use to identify and eliminate hidden negative emotions stored in patient's body. NET really is a stress reduction technique with huge effect on patient's life. We use homeopathic remedies to help your body to detoxify and release negative emotions or to enhance flow of energy on the specific meridians. This complex approach to the patient's conditions is very effective and gives excellent results. We also have digital scanner and can scan your feet, we will know what is going on with your feet in 5 minutes, individual orthotics will be manufactured by Foot levelers- one of the oldest and most credited orthotics company. Very often patients have knee, hip, low back pain and have no idea that all these problems caused by collapsed arches in the foot, orthotics will fix this. So, I recently passed Functional Medicine University Exams and can tell officialy that I practice Functional Medicine. Functional Medicine concerned with the cause of the conditions, not just symptoms. Two patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome will have fatigue, but in one case it will be caused by mitochondrial dysfunction, in another case it will be caused by adrenal exhaustion. So, these two patients should be treated differently. Functional medicine implements a lot of alternative testing, it may be saliva, blood, urine, stool and hair. Some of the tests are different from the conventional tests and may or may not be covered by insurance. If your insurance does not cover the test, patient will be given price, that lower then original one. Diagnostic testing is very informative and helpful. I personally use Genova Diagnostics and Metametrix and very much satisfied with the results. I think that combination of massage therapy and chiropractic will give the best results, that is why we have massage therapist experienced in hot stone massage and reflexology working in the office. It is my goal to bring in a good yoga teacher who will help my patients to incorporate yoga to everyday life. I think, we are spiritual beings in the physical body and it is impossible to heal without addressing spirituality-hence yoga will come into play. Practicing yoga on and off the mat is a way to go.
