My specialty areas are Depression, Anxiety and PTSD in children, teens and adults. I also help those experiencing life transitions, difficulty coping with an abortion, or those needing Life Coaching. I use EMDR for treating PTSD. I especially enjoy working with teens and retired individuals, or those on disability.

I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I am an active participant in the therapy process. Generally I find my clients have walked through my door with their own answers, decisions, plans, strategies.These may not be clear at that time we start our work together It is my task to assist you in discovering what these may be and to help you work towards your goals. I work with individuals and couples. some of the issues I work with clients on are stress; work and home, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, weight loss, improving communication in your relationships with family, friends and and coworkers, healing from traumas and dealing with life's transitions; job change, marriage, divorce becoming a parent, children leaving the nest, aging parents.

I have been in practice for 30 yrs. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. There are many stresses in life and many ways to better care for yourself. I can help you to manage your stress, reduce your anxiety, improve your depression, or to deal with panic attacks. I also help couples learn to communicate better, more effectively connect, to parent as a team and to make decisions together. . I am certified in EMDR and Natural Processing which are very effective and efficient treatments for becoming unstuck in ones life. These could be stuck memories, experiences or responses to life events. EMDR can help you heal from traumas, past and more recent, reduces anxiety and frees you up to get unstuck in your life. I am an active participant in the therapy process with you. I will ask you to think about your situations in ways you may not have considered and therefore come up with some new approaches and strategies.My work with people continues to be interesting and fulfilling.
