Dr Anthony Owens is a psychologist practicing in Alphington, Preston and Cowes. He specializes in the use of current understanding of brain function in therapy, teaching, supervision and research.
In therapy Dr Owens blends and mainly uses Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Ego State Therapy (EST) and hypnosis. Since past shocks are so upsetting he ensures clients/patients have skill in self soothing through mindfulness, meditation, self-hypnosis, exercise and nutition.

Experienced in performance skills for competitive tennis, athletics, football, soccer, skiing and skating. Teacher, academic, clinical and research psychologist in 6 universities in Australia, Canada and the USA. Registered psychologist since 1980 in Australia.
