Education/Training
I have two Masters Degrees. One is a Masters in Social Work from Fordham University (essentially, this means a Masters in psychotherapy), and the other is in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from William Lyon University.
Bio
For more than 20 years I've been counseling adults (18 and older) in a private practice setting on Manhattan's Upper West Side. (If you’re not familiar with the term “private practice,” it means a personal office where you will have more privacy than in a clinic or similar organization.)
Prior to opening my practice, I worked for a number of years with individuals and groups in organizational settings.
I’ve also been trained in many ways of working with people, including cognitive-behavioral, EMDR, interpersonal, psychodynamic, and IPNB. All my training has been geared toward providing the latest and best methods for my clients.
