Cheryl Holland, MT-BC
Music Therapy practice is based on decades of research in a multitude of clinical areas. In my twelfth year of practice, I'm fortunate to have experience with individuals from many ages, cultures, and needs. I serve people with a variety of special needs, including medical, developmental, social/emotional , rehabilitation, and others. .
Bio
Cheryl Holland earned a Bachelor's in Music Therapy from the University of Miami in 1998, where her practicum experience included work for the Ryder Trauma Unit at Jackson Memorial Hospital, United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and the Veteran's Administration Hospital.
In 1999 she completed her Internship at the Central Wisconsin Center for the Developmentally Disabled, and shortly after began work with elderly patients in Los Angeles. For several years she served children with special needs and adults in recovery from substance abuse. From 2004-2011 she was the Music Therapist at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
In 2011 she relocated to the Dallas area, and currently serves young adults and children with special needs.
