Elanna Lazaruk, Psy.D.
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a practice in Garden City, New York. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and provide individual, couples, and family therapy. I believe that developing a strong working relationship with your therapist is essential for successful therapy, and I therefore strive to develop a trusting, empathic, and non-judgmental relationship. I work with people with a number of different issues and specialize in treatment of anxiety, depression, addiction, trauma, behavior problems, and relationship/family issues.
I have had training in a number of different therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention. I believe that everyone has different needs and goals for therapy. Therefore, I will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that best suits your needs.
Making the decision to go to therapy is not always an easy one. I believe that it takes real strength and courage to make the commitment to work on yourself and things that you are struggling with. Session Information
Therapy sessions are typically 45-50 minutes in length and occur on a weekly or biweekly basis, although other arrangements can be made based on your individual needs.
