Pastoral Counseling/Therapy
I have of Dr. of Ministry degree, am an ordained clergywoman endorsed by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship, and a KY Licensed Pastoral Counselor. I'm qualified to offer pastoral care, pastoral counseling and pastoral psychotherapy, and life coaching. That approach calls for the integration of psychology and spirituality into the therapy that I offer. My own theology is moderate and leans to the left. While I'm a Christian attending Highland Baptist Church, I've been trained to work with those of other faith traditions as well as those without any because some clients aren't in need of a spiritual emphasis for their therapy, and I'll use a more secular approach for them.
In addition to offering therapy, I also offer clinical supervision and work to train other pastoral counselors via the Kentuckiana Pastoral Counseling Consortium. This organization trains at the post doctoral level and helps to prepare pastoral counselors for licensure.

Bio
Becoming a therapist surfaced later in my life; I'm a late bloomer and have a number of years of experience as a therapist. Personally, I'm divorced from my first marriage and raised two children as a single mother prior to eventually remarrying.
