Assisting Individuals Through Life's Transitions
I provide individual counseling, couples and family counseling and group counseling. I am also a supervisor for interns seeking licensure as Mental Health Counselors for the state of Florida.

I prefer to use a brief, solution-focused model and utilize cognitive-behavioral techniques. I also enjoy incorporating art, music, poetry, journaling and play to enhance the therapeutic process. Knowing that each person is an individual, I use the most appropriate interventions and techniques for the situations and issues presented.

I am a provider on numerous insurance and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) panels and understand that the faster an issue is processed, the less impact the events will have on a person in the long-term.

I understand that each person who seeks help wants to be heard and I am honored to provide that support.
After spending childhood in a military family and living in Lousiana, Illinois, Virginia and Florida, I graduated from the University of Central Florida (GO KNIGHTS). I met my husband and we moved to Jacksonville, Florida six years ago. In the past ten years, I have worked for local mental health centers, a Fortune 500 Insurance Company and a major medical hospital, as well as my own private practice. Through these experiences, I have been exposed to a wide array of environments and people. I truly believe that family is the most important and crucial system and I enjoy working towards positive goals to assist others to have their ideal relationships and lives. I complete homestudy reports for those who are in the adoption process and host information sessions for couples who are interested in adoption. Outside of the office, I enjoy reading, traveling with my family, going to concerts, scrapbooking and sewing... although I am just a novice with that. I live with my husband and three young children in Orange Park.
