I provide short and long term psychotherapy to individuals and couples from late adolescence through adulthood in a private and confidential setting.

I see individuals with a variety of needs including dual diagnosis and substance abuse, anxiety and depression, problems with interpersonal relationships and self-esteem, difficulties with trauma and abuse, addiction in the family, compulsivity and cross-cultural concerns. Additionally, I have a great amount of experience in addressing multicultural concerns and issues of adjustment and acculturation.

My specialty areas are the treatment of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety and trauma with co-occurring substance abuse problems and treatment of individuals affected by addiction in their families and relationships. In addition, I can provide psychotherapy in Spanish.

My approach to treatment is psychodynamic and reflects my interest in Existential-Phenomenology and Psychoanalysis. I work with each individual to find and fulfill their personal goals. Some individuals I work with enter therapy with a specific goal in mind, while others are interested in gaining increased insight and awareness through ongoing psychotherapy.
