Compassionate, Confidential,
Professional Christian Counseling.
Frank works with a wide range of issues including marriage and family, pre-marital counseling (using Prepare/Enrich), depression, anxiety, grief issues, spiritual formation, adolescents, and men's issues (including sexual addictions and midlife issues).

While we are a faith based practice, people of all faiths or no faith are welcome. My values are based on a conservative, evangelical understanding of the Bible. But my counseling is therapeutic and not preaching. My approach involves a lot of listening and a mix of cognitive-behavioral (focus on your thinking), family systems, and interpersonal therapies.

We are a counseling ministry. Among other things, this means that even though we charge for our services no one will be turned away because of their inability to pay. At the time of this posting our standard fee is an affordable $60 per session. But if this is beyond your ability to pay, please make an appointment and we will discuss a fee you can afford - no matter how low.
Education/Training
Frank has undergraduate degrees from Luther Rice University in Lithonia, GA and Mt. Vernon Bible College (Ohio). He has a Master of Arts in Religion (Graduated Magna Cum Laude, named to 1999-2000 "Who’s Who among Students in American Universities & Colleges") from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois. Frank attended the Psychological Studies Institute where he earned the Master of Arts in Professional counseling with a specialization in Spirituality and Counseling. Frank has also done extensive continuing education in treating sexual addiction and pornography addiction.
Bio
Counseling settings Frank has worked in include a Christian private practice, church counseling center, a university counseling center, a county mental health agency, hospital emergency room, and a crisis call center. He has worked with individuals, couples, families, groups and adolescents.

Frank enjoys spending time with his wife, Diane and family, walking his dog, playing guitar and mandolin, watching sports, and reading.

Rev. Busbey is also available for seminars on marriage, grief, boundaries, sexual addiction or pornography and pulpit supply.
