Pain Is Inevitable, Help Is Avaliable.
Jalea Seals, MA

Suite A
If you feel stuck and hopeless, individual counseling is a one-on-one process of being heard, encouraged and challenged toward growth. Jalea will work with you to identify and change unhealthy life patterns through learning to identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts.
I know that it takes courage to address problem areas and examine painful feelings. Attending counseling does not mean you are weak, but rather strong enough to be vulnerable and move forward. I am passionate about counseling and will respect your vulnerability by creating a safe place for you to work through the problems that can no longer be ignored.
Philosophically, I believe that problems are not just one-dimensional but multi-faceted. Pain and suffering will affect multiple areas of your life including psychological health, physical health, spirituality and interpersonal relationships. I believe that since all these areas are affected by turmoil they should be addressed and targeted in counseling.
