If You Are Considering Therapy, I Am Glad You Are Here
If you are considering therapy, I am glad you are here. I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice. I believe that individuals possess the key to their own well being; however, sometimes life can present obstacles that are difficult to overcome. Most people come up against some sort of obstacle at least once in their lives. When this happens, it is helpful to have a professional ally to collaboratively look at these areas of concern. Teamwork is an important component in making therapy successful. Sometimes talking about what is on your mind enables you to see things from a different perspective and seeing things from a different perspective can be a key ingredient in promoting personal growth and making better choices in the future. A goal of psychotherapy is that you get to know yourself in such a way that you realize your full potential and are able to live more authentically. If you need a safe space to work through a tough time or gain new perspectives and develop a better understanding of yourself and your relationships, I am here to help.

Bio
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of California at Davis and a Masters of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University. Presently, I am working as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) in private practice. In addition, I volunteer in various positions at EMQ Families First in San Jose. My work experience includes working at Loma Prieta School District and Lonestar College as a school counselor and working at Champions Christian Counseling as a clinical counselor. While working as a school counselor I have had the honor of seeing children grow into strong and healthy individuals. Prior to working at Loma Prieta School District, I spent three years in Houston, Texas where I earned full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
