MY COUNSELING PHILOSOPHY
I believe that counseling is a way to strengthen oneself emotionally so that one's life journey can be traveled with calmness, peacefulness, integrity and well-being. Since this journey is not always easy, counseling offers a partnership to explore problems, challenges and life events with the assistance of a well-trained, knowledgeable and empathetic guide by your side. As each life story and circumstances are different, so too are the various approaches that are available. I believe that each individual is unique and, therefore, endeavor to use my training and experience to provide the safest and most comfortable format for effective therapy.

Licenses/Certifications: Karen E. Sherman, LMHC has been a in Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida since 1995 and she has a Certification Hypnosis. [Florida License # MH3673.]
Education: She received her Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova University in 1991 and her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Science from Florida Atlantic University in 1989.
Counseling Experience: She provides individual, group, marital/couple/and family therapy for adolescents, adults, and seniors.
