Journey to Self Discovery and Wellness!
Path To Growth, LLC
Inevitably, in life we each encounter obstacles, many of which are smaller hurdles we can jump and overcome on our own while others prove more challenging, often leaving us overwhelmed with feelings of anxiety, frustration, or sadness. While these are typical stress reactions, it is possible to get relief, alleviating this discomfort and allowing us to feel more content. It is during these times of struggle that stepping-stones such as counseling and energy work can guide us on our path to growth while helping us create the peace and stability we are seeking.
Education/Training
I have a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Central Florida and am Licensed by the Florida Department of Health (MH9466) to provide psychotherapy services. Additionally, I am a Certified Crisis Responder (CCR) trained by the National Organization for Victim Assistance (NOVA), an EMDR Institute trained clinician, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and Usui Reiki Practitioner.
Bio
I founded Path To Growth, LLC in 2006 with the hopes of utilizing my diverse educational and professional experiences to create a safe and comfortable environment for people to make the decision to heal from past experiences and presently create the life they desire for themselves.

I believe that we are our own best healer. We each have our own inner wisdom that knows what is needed to move forward, however sometimes this knowing becomes blocked over time as a result of stress that impacts our mind, body, and spirit and this is likely when we consider seeking external support for relief.

When working with me, I will trust in your ability to integrate the work we do in whatever way will best support your growth and healing. I will assist you in identifying your symptoms, how they are manifesting in your life and will then customize a treatment plan that meets your individual needs. Ultimately, I see myself as a facilitator of a process that we work as a team to create.

It is my goal to offer a compassionate and collaborative experience, catered to each individual’s needs. I work with individuals, including adolescents and adults from diverse cultures, races, classes, sexual orientations, gender identities, backgrounds, and spiritual traditions. I feel privileged to witness the process of my client’s healing and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

I have worked in a variety of settings through the years, including a residential treatment facility for adolescents, a police department victim services unit, a university setting, and a spiritual community, in addition to my current work in private practice. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with particular speciality in recovery from traumatic experiences, grief and loss, sexual health (gender identity concerns, sexually transmitted infection diagnosis, and sexual dysfunction) and relationship concerns including gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) issues.
