Bio
Dr. Corbett is a Licensed Clinical and Forensic Psychologist, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a certified Substance Abuse Professional. Dr. Corbett has her doctorate in Clinical Psychology (Psy.D) with emphasis in child and adolescent psychology and psychodiagonsis/forensics. Dr. Corbett's dissertation was on the impact of family therapy on treatment outcomes for children with Bipolar Disorder in Level 12 residential treatment. Dr. Corbett's Master's degree is in Counseling Psychology with emphasis in marriage, family, and child counseling. Dr. Corbett was previously the Clinical Supervisor for the San Diego Center for Children's level 12 RTC and the Lead Therapist for the Vista Hill Foundation's Learning Assistance Center. Additionally, Dr.Corbett has experience treating the chronically mentally ill in both inpatient and outpatient settings, domestic violence, substance abuse, trauma, sexual abuse, affective disorders, anxiety disorders and Borderline Personality Disorder.
