Life is overflowing with choices that we make to create our desired reality. Learning how to make choices that destine us to create the life we want is key. What would your life look like if you could wake up tomorrow and your life would be as you want it? How would your life be different? Together we can figure out how to help you navigate your way to a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life. "Life is not what it's supposed to be. Its what it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference." ~Satir
What would you like your life to be like? Things can be different. Healing and growth can happen through connection and processing. You can have the life you want, and together we can navigate how to get there. No matter what your struggle, challenge or stuck place, there are tools, resources and help to create your enjoyable, fulfilling life.
You are already taking the first steps in a new direction, looking for resources. Your next step is to call and make contact. Together we can figure out how to get you more of what you want, and less of what you do not want. You may be struggling with a relationship, a child, depression, anxiety, illness, grief, loss, job, family or another challenge, and you can feel better. Take your next step towards feeling and living better. With each step, your travels can become lighter, more manageable and enjoyable. I greatly look forward to the privilege of working with you as we work together to create the life you envision for yourself.
Couples Therapy ~
We all want to feel connected and safe with our partner. Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy is proven to be the most effective couples therapy, helping couples stop having the same argument over and over, and connect in loving, secure ways. You and your partner can have the relationship you want.
Play Therapy ~
Through play therapy, children can improve their behavior, emotional expression, and communication. Play is the language of children, and toys are their words. As children work in therapy, they are able to play out their stuck places to create different, healthier ways of acting, expressing themselves and relating to others.

Bio
Kristie was born with an interest and love of people. Constantly curious about why we do what we do, why we are here and how we overcome has led Kristie to studies and experiences through and beyond books and formal education. Kristie wanted to know what is good for us, what helps us feel better and how we can deal with our universal "angst of life."
When Kristie completed her undergraduate degree, she wanted to learn and experience more about people, children, parenting and the world of the family. She earned a multiple subject teaching credential, and taught in Irvine Unified School District. This was a rich field to learn more about families, systems, parents, children and colleagues. Before Kristie's teaching career, during her undergraduate work, Kristie learned American Sign Language (ASL), and became a Sign Language Interpreter. Through working with numerous and varied people in real life settings (such as hospitals, births, deaths, celebrations, funerals, schools, meetings, mental health, places of employment, events, ceremonies, appointments, agencies, and communities), Kristie was gifted a unique insight and perspective into people, connection, and the everyday experience of living. These opportunities were an exceptionally rare and privileged education that greatly contribute to Kristie's skill and effectiveness as a therapist. Learning sign language, in addition to loving children, also gave Kristie the opportunity to teach Deaf children in elementary, middle and high school as a substitute instructor in the Orange County Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs. Teaching and interpreting at California State University, Fullerton were also highlights of Kristie's journey to becoming a therapist.
Kristie believes therapy is the most courageous thing someone can do; "We take our pain, look at it, feel it and together move through it. It takes courage." Working and growing through our experiences helps us live the lives we are meant to enjoy. You are not alone. None of us are in this alone. We are interdependent; we need one another. It is Kristie's hope to be there with and for those who are ready and willing to begin to navigate life's numerous choices, and heal from past hurts, present circumstance and the blows that life can deal us. Life is our ultimate education. Making contact is your next step in choosing to live the life you want to live.
