I have been in practice for over 15 years and specialize in 1) relationship and sex therapy (ranging from communication issues to sexual problems such as erectile dysfunction, painful intercourse, and lack of sexual desire- certified in sex therapy by the American Association of Sexual Educators, Counselors, and therapists); 2) depression/anxiety; 3) compulsive eating (including weight, exercise and nutrition management)
I try to highlight peoples' strengths so that they can take charge of their lives and "fix" their problems. In a nutshell: I work with people on increasing the pleasure and decreasing the anxiety in daily living.

Education
I trained at Rutgers Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, receiving my doctorate in 1984. Along the way, I accrued sub-specialties in: 1) couples/sex therapy; 2) treatment of obesity/eating disorders.
I am certified in sex therapy by AASECT (American Association of Sexual Educators, Counselors, and Therapists) and maintain my status by engaging in continued seminar and course attendance in the field
Bio
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and am located in mid-town Manhattan near the Time-Warner Center and Carnegie Hall (easily accessible by most public transportation).
I work 3 days a week and spend my other time exercising, going to the theater, seeing friends and, of course, with my children!
