Lane's Learning Center opened in 1980 and offers a supportive atmosphere which meets the individual needs of children and adults who experience challenges in learning. With over 30 years experience in education as a private practitioner, Michele works with families, students of all ages, schools, and other outside agencies involved. The Center offers educational assessment, consultations, and educational therapy in all academic areas.

Michele received a Masters of Science Degree in Education from Dominican University. She also holds California Life Credentials in Multiple Subjects, Learning Disabilities, Severely Handicapped, and Resource Specialist Credentials. Michele is a Board Certified Educational Therapist and a member of the Association of Educational Therapists. She was one of the founders of Educators in Private Practice in 1979. This free referral service is available to interested people in the San Francisco Bay area. Michele represented the United States in a delegation to China with People to People in 1994. She presented information on Learning Disabilities in America and the Diagnostic Tests used by American specialists.

Michele is an educational therapist, teacher, and a learning specialist with more than 35 years of intensive child development experience. As founder of Lane's Learning Center in 1980, she creates and develops comprehensive educational programs for children and adults with a wide range of learning and social-emotional challenges. In addition to her consulting, Michele and her husband of 28 years have two adult children.
