Help Yourself By Using Good Help.
Psych Choices
Stuck in constant arguments? Depressed? Anxious? Having traumatic thoughts bothering you? Facing change that needs to happen? I bring you 20+ years of experience helping thousands of individuals, families, and couples face situations where change is needed. I do this with people in a caring, non-confrontational and genuine way. When making a change, you need to feel listened to, cared for, and respected. I can provide that for you as well as competent psychotherapy techniques to help you in your situation. Let me help you make change work for you.
In addition to 20+ years of experience using a variety of standard counseling tools, I have certification in EMDR, a tool used with troubling memories which is available to you.
Note that I work with others, including physicians, in a group practice. They are available to you as well if you see me. Finally, check out my homepage, which has lots of information on it and a blog which may be helpful to you even right now.
Bio
I have learned a lot from my training at the University of Vermont and the University of Pennsylvania in counseling practice while working on my social work degrees.
However, I have learned a lot more from the thousands of people who came to me for services in a variety of different settings.
What I have learned from them is how resilient people can be in dealing with the stresses in their lives.
I bring my training and the experience that comes from thousands of people getting better to you.
