Movement for Life
I Can Help You Feel, Move and Be Better!
First I would like to thank you for reading my profile. I understand that if you are reading this you are likely in pain and are not quite sure what to do. Let me just say that I will do everything in my power to help you if given the opportunity. I truly do care about people and if you choose to visit my practice I believe you will see that.
My aim is to get you better as quickly as possible. To accomplish this I offer a combination of therapies tailored to your specific weaknesses and needs. I place a great deal of emphasis on rehabilitation, self-care and prevention to improve pain and injury as well as to reduce the potential for re-injury and relapse. My goal is to keep you out of the doctor's office and allow you to enjoy life to the fullest!
The services provided at Northwest Indiana Chiropractic Health are founded on the idea of finding the key link creating your problem. A person, just like a chain, is only as strong as its weakest link. By offering the most evidence-based and researched services, Northwest Indiana Chiropractic Health is extremely efficient at quickly finding the weakest link and fixing it.
Services include Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy, Rehabilitation, Myofascial Release, Gait Analysis and Orthotics, Nutritional Counseling and more…
Our mission at Northwest Indiana Chiropractic Health truly is to improve lives through movement.
Education/Training
I am a 2010 graduate of National University of Health Sciences (NUHS). While at NUHS, I received extensive training in the areas of diagnosis, adjustive technique, rehabilitation, gait analysis, soft tissue therapy, kinesiotaping, nutrition and acupuncture.
After graduation, I have continued post-graduate coursework in the areas of McKenzie Therapy, Developmental Kinesiology, neurophysiology, motion palpation, biomechanics, functional rehabilitation, temporomandibular dysfunction (TMJ and TMD) and various other areas.
I have completed over 300 hours of post-graduate coursework outside of my Chiropractic education in the hopes that I can help any patient that walks into my office.
Bio
Unique to many in the health field, I am a strongly believer in “practicing what I preach.” As I am continually learning and trying new things for the benefits of my patients, you can be assured that almost everything I recommend for treatment is something I have actually tried myself or would be willing to try if the need arose. Just a few examples of items I have tried and may recommend include instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), a 30 day Paleo Challenge and 30 days without sugar (crazy right!).
I choose to live a gluten-free life due to its many health benefits and am a member of the Paleo Physicians Network.
