A MIND BODY APPROACH
Pain, Anxiety, Stress, Sleep (PASS) specialities
Everyone runs into the storms of the seas of life. It can be a medical problem, an emotional problem, a loss, very likely a relationship problem or an addiction. The effects can be devastating and at the very least, very unsettling. We all react differently. Very commonly you feel anxious, depressed or simply stressed.
You are on overload. The demands being placed on you may seem more than you can handle. There seems to be too much on your plate. The seas of life may have become so rough they seem to be threatening your ability to keep it all together
Slow down-cool off-take a deep breath and take stock of what is happening.
Together we can work on dealing more effectively with the storm, make repairs as needed and strengthen you to better deal with future storms. The tools we will use are focused on the mind-body relationship. This includes biofeedback, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy and the Emotional Freedom Technique among other techniques. The goal is solution oriented behavioral changes, not just insight. Care will be given to your sleep and nutritional habits as well to other aspects of wellness and your circle of support.
