Dynamic Chiropractic
I am presently practicing in Memphis, at the corner of Winchester and Hacks Cross across the street from Lowes. The name of our clinic is Dynamic Chiropractic and we have been at this location for several months. We have developed a team effort to serve our patients from the time you enter the office and to make your experience a pleasant one. It is always a joint effort, team spirit and a attitude of service that sets us apart.
When you enter our office you will fill out a information form which will allow us to gather information about yourself and the type symptoms you are experiencing. We also will get information concerning insurance and will verify your benefits. We accept most insurance coverage and if you do not have insurance we will try to work with you to address payment issues. Once the information is filled out the doctor will talk with you about your symptoms to determine if Chiropractic can help you. A exam would be performed and x-rays would be taken to see the effected area.
I utilize many different Chiropractic techniques. I have many years of experience using the Gonstead Technique, Thompson Technique, Activator Technique and I also do trigger point work for sore and painful muscles. We also use interferential current for the relief of pain and heat and cold packs for inflamation and sore muscles. There are also intersegmental traction tables that massage the back and relieve stress as well as increase joint mobility.
Education/Training
I graduated from Tupeo high school in 1971 and joined the military. After my discharge I went to College at the University of North Alabama. I graduated from UNA and started Life Chiropractic college in 1979 and graduated in 1983.
Bio
My name is Dr. Richard Amodeo. I am a Chiropractor who practices in Memphis, Tn. and I have 30 plus years of experience helping people of all ages with various nerve related conditions. It has been my life goal to help people live pain free and enjoy life again.
Let me give a brief summary about myself and how I chose my field of practice. I joined the military after high school, and served four years and was honorably discharged in 1976. After my discharge, I started experiencing neck pain. I went to a Chiropractor for help. It changed my life forever. My neck pain went away. To say the least, I was impressed. The light turned on for me and I decided to become a Chiropractor myself.
In 1977, I went back to college for two years a the University of North Alabama and entered Life Chiropractic College in Marietta Ga. in 1979. I graduated Chiropractic college in 1983. After I graduated I acquired my license to practice in Mississippi and I set up my practice in Ocean Springs Ms. I later acquired my Tennessee licence and moved to Memphis in 1986. When I started practicing in Memphis I worked with other Chiropractors in my area and gained experience and a wealth of knowledge in dealing with difficult spinal related problems. It has been very rewarding for me to relieve low back pain, neck pain, headaches and various health related conditions, naturally through Chiropractic care.
Today I live in Collierville,Tn. with my two children and attend Central Church as my place of worship. I truly enjoy living in Memphis and the friendships I have made and the southern hospitality that makes each day a wonderful experience.
