We provide full body adjustments, including ankles, foot, knees, hips, shoulders, elbows and wrists if needed, as well as therapeutic stretching to help you hold your adjustments longer.
We also take a 3 pronged approach to your health: we make sure your nervous system is functioning optimally, that your adrenal glands are working well to regulate the stress hormones of the body, and we test the acidity or toxic levels of your body. Bio
Hometown Family Wellness Center is a member of the Association of New Jersey Chiropractors.
Dr. Russell Brokstein grew up in Freehold, NJ and after going to Penn State and then Life Chiropractic College, he decided to return to his hometown to give back to the community. He cares about his town and makes many efforts to help those around him with actions such as supporting the yearly food drives during the holidays, health fairs, coat drives and community lectures.
Dr. Brokstein played competitive soccer for 28 years. He suffered with bronchial conditions through high school and college. Years of medications and inhalers never provided relief of his condition and that's when he decided to look beyond Medical school and find another way of helping patients without drugs or surgery. Fortunately, the Dean of Pre-med suggested he look into Chiropractic. Keeping an open mind he researched it on his own, never knowing what chiropractic was really about, he liked the idea of getting to the source of the problem and help the body self-correct, to get patients well and healthy through wellness. That is the health care without drugs which not only eliminates health problems but prevents them.
Upon getting adjusted for the first time when first entering the chiropractic college, his bronchial problem resolved.
Also, while working out, Dr. Brokstein injured his lower back and can sympathize with patients that come in with similar problems. Chiropractic care helped him and he got into doing flex/distraction technique as it’s what helped him recovery so quickly.
When Dr. Brokstein is not in the office caring for patients he enjoys spending time with his 4 nephews and
