Do you suffer from unwanted thoughts and anxiety? Do you worry about bad things happening to you or those you love? Maybe you are having thoughts that you have harmed someone or may harm someone in the future. Perhaps you fear that you will become contaminated or that you will be responsible for a tragedy. Do you wash your hands excessively or check things like door locks or the stove? Or do you avoid things like knives, public restrooms, or anything that might trigger your fearful thoughts? OCD thoughts can take any form, and there is successful treatment available.
Individual, group, Skype and Teletherapy appointments are available for your OCD.

Stacey Kuhl Wochner is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California (LCS #25749). She received her Master’s Degree in Social Administration from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She is the founder of Stacey Kuhl Wochner, A Licensed Clinical Social Worker Corporation.
Bio
Stacey Kuhl Wochner, LCSW, is a psychotherapist who specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Spectrum Disorders including Social Anxiety, Hypochondria (health anxiety), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Trichotillomania (hair pulling), and Dermatillomania (skin picking). In private practice, she provides individual and group therapy for adult and adolescent populations.
Prior to her current work in private practice, Stacey worked for 8 years at the OCD Center of Los Angeles conducting individual, group and intensive outpatient psychotherapy with clients with a wide variety of OCD subtypes and related anxiety disorders. Her previous experience also includes conducting biopsychosocial assessments for USC University Hospital, Oakview Behavioral Health Center, the Mandel Adoption Project, and Cuyahoga County Department of Children and Family Services.
Stacey was a speaker at the annual International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) conference in San Diego (July 2012) and Chicago (July 2011) on the topic of mental rituals commonly seen in Pure Obsessional OCD. In 2012, she wrote an article published in the July/August edition of Social Work Today entitled, “Pure Obsessional OCD – Symptoms and Treatment.” She is member of IOCDF and CAMFT.
Stacey has experience in all forms of OCD and 85 to 90% of her caseload are clients who carry an OCD diagnosis. A vast majority of her clients had a primary OCD subtype of Pure Obsessional OCD such as HOCD, ROCD, POCD & Postpartum OCD, in addition to traditional forms.
