Competent, Compassionate Sex Therapy
Is your sex life causing you distress? Do you and your spouse or partner have mismatched sex drives? Lack of sexual interest? Difficulty with erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, or delayed ejaculation? Is sex painful or even impossible? Are you struggling with sex after cancer or because of chronic pain or illness? Have you had negative sexual experiences or trauma that interfere with sexual pleasure? Sexual addiction? Unwanted kinky behaviors? Confusion about orientation or gender?

I specialize in treating people with all kinds of sexual problems. I used a solution-focused, brief approach to help heal you and your relationship so that you can have the kind of fulfilling sexual experiences you seek. There is no touching or disrobing; we are going to talk about and solve what's bothering you. I'll suggest reading and activities to do on your own. Meeting weekly, provided you are motivated to change, you'll accomplish real change.
In addition to being a psychologist, I also have a Master of Professional Writing degree from U.S.C. I have published children's books, but since earning m doctorate my writing and editing efforts have been in my field. In January 2011, I have a book being published entitled Sex, Love, & Mental Illness: A Couple's Guide to Staying Connected.

I was born and for the most part raised in Los Angeles, California. I have been married to my husband Mark for nearly 25 years. Together we have a college-aged daughter who is also studying to be a psychologist. I have made Orange County my home since 1993. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, museum-hopping, and trying new cuisines.
